Probably the best food I can remember being in Ireland!
The place is famous for seafood.
The
menu is not one of these overloaded books that make me feel that
no one will be able to prepare all the stuff really fresh.
It gave me enough choice though. The monkfish roasted
with smoked ham, potatoes, cherry tomatoes (not for me!), garlic
and rosemary did not only read good ― it also tasted great. It's
definitely worth the €21.95 and went really well with a Guinness
or two. Pub Guinness in Ireland is somehow better than anywhere
else ...
The Profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce (€3.75) were not
typically Irish — but good.
With profiteroles you never know:
Sometimes they are filled with a heavy butter cream only instead
of ice cream — not at this place.
