Place:

A hotel right in the center of Pisa — away from the main tourist attractions.  It is situated in a quiet spot.

It's only two minutes to the pedestrian zone and not more to a really nice Italian restaurant.  The Leaning Tower is in walking distance.

Room:

Nothing special – but OK.  The room I got first lead to a small light well and the heating didn't work properly. After my complaint that was changed without any problem. A window to the quiet garden and some daylight made up for the first night.

Price:

I got an internet special for €66 (room per night, breakfast included).  It was worth it — but I wouldn't like to pay the standard rate here.

Service:

Friendly staff mainly.  As it is not a four star hotel I didn't expect real professional staff.  The receptionist made that up by recommending a very nice restaurant.

Breakfast wasn't a blast — but that's pretty common in Italy.

They offer a shuttle service (only) from the hotel to the airport (or other places) for a fixed rate.  No pick-up from the airport.

Overall:

I'd stay there again if they guaranteed a nice room.
